Gabriel Kahane

Singer-songwriter Gabriel Kahane is part of a new generation of art-song composers whose music defies easy classification. On his self-titled debut album, due out this fall, he writes wry observational songs that incorporate the sounds of string quartets, folk, brass chorales and jangly piano pop. He joins us to perform live in the studio.
Gabriel Kahane will play
a record release show at The Zipper Factory on Sept. 17.

JellyNYC did an amazing job at the McCarren Pool. They produced all the free Sunday POoL PARTIES the last three years and have brought more attention to the Pool than anyone else. They really need to be recognized.
