Though I admit there may be some use to charting the sales of recorded music, one has to be careful in not taking the ranking too seriously, especially as an evaluation of taste and especially of music in general. Remember that in 1967 Englebert Humperdinck's "Release Me" not only reached the top ten but also went to number one in Britain, keeping The Beatles "Strawberry Fields Forever" from the position. Over forty years later, which tune does anyone remember best?
