But at age 16, his life changed when his friend introduced him to the music of Bruce Springsteen. In the memoir Greetings from Bury Park he tells the immigrants story of a hungry heart.

I'm on my way out to Highway 9. No joke, it's about 10 minutes from my house. The only thing that's going to spring from any cages is toothpaste, yogurt, breakfast cereal, and milk.

This guy is great! Ask how much Bruce plays Darkness on the Edge of Town. I've always heard him play in about 5 shows. I believe it to be Bruce's favorite Bruce song and hence my favorite Bruce song. WHat's his favorite Bruce song?
