Hey, what about the sound of records, I still listen to my lp's. I think they sound much better then cd's.
I'm not jumping into the often ridiculous "which sounds better" debate, but vinyl's frequency bandwidth allows for even less high frequency information than 16/44.1 cd's. So if one agrees with what T Bone Burnett was saying about that end of the spectrum, then vinyl wouldn't be the answer.
I'd also like to acknowledge the irony of this being an MP3 download. Using THE SYSTEM'S tools of oppression against them! Smash The State!
cd sound is dead. i prefer the old 8 track cartridge and cassettes to digitals cold sterile sound. music died when the cd was born. hi resolution digital is just another farce when compared to analog formats. i hope the cd dies soon.
