Augie March

Wednesday, September 19, 2007

The band Augie March's third album, "Moo, You Bloody Choir," has gone platinum and nabbed major awards in their native Australia. Yet they've yet to make a big dent in the States in 10 years as a band. We talk to the members of Augie March about breaking out of the Australian music industry, plus the band performs live in our studio.

Thanks for the piece on one of the highest quality bands to come along in years. It is always nice to hear musicians get publicity for great work and not for showing their ass in public, literally or figuratively.

The interviewer asked well thought out questions and gave the band a chance to answer in a meaningful way without trite comparisons. Thanks again for the intelligent conversation with Glenn Richards of Augie March.
