Dear John,
Given your musical interests from the Dead to BOAC and so much in between, I can't tell if your lack of info on TVZ is real or part of an interview style. There are many a venue in this town where covers of Pancho & Lefty, White Freightliner, If I Needed You, etc, etc are not uncommon sounds.
But then maybe you should find time to get to Banjo Jims, Parkside Lounge, Living Room, Southpaw and other places where everyone recognizes a Townes tune?
That said, love your show and appearances around town.
