We're joined by Gayle Wald, author of Shout Sister Shout! The Untold Story of Rock-and-Roll Trailblazer Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Sister Rosetta Tharpe was my favorite Gospel singer. I once met her at oncert in Newark, New Jersey. No one on earth had a voice like her and no one played the guitar like she did. I missed her and I love her may God rest her soul.
