How do you get teens to memorize new vocabulary words or mathematical equations as easily as hip-hop lyrics? You can start by using hip-hop in the classroom. Today, we debate its effectiveness with Marcella Runell, co-creator of "The Hip-Hop Education Guidebook: Volume 1," and Dr. David E. Kirkland, Assistant Professor of English Education at NYU.
