Rocking the Novel
Novels about pop music often hit on tried and true themes but not so in the case of writer Jonathan Lethem. His latest, "You Don't Love Me Yet," is an improbable comic novel about the members of a struggling hipster band set in L.A. The book has spawned an interesting side project that gets Lethem dangerously close to writing songs. Also on the show: Indie-duo The Autumn Defense is the side project of John Stirratt and Pat Sansone, both members of the band Wilco. They play live in studio.
