    Operatic Idol

Every year, thousands of aspiring opera singers compete for cash and career boosts in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. The competition is considered every bit as daunting as "American Idol," and like the TV singing contest, it's turned out some major stars. Today, we're joined by one of the brightest, tenor Ben Heppner, along with one of this year's winners, 28-year-old soprano Katherine Jolly. Also on the show: jazz singer Peter Eldridge has built a following as a member of jazz vocal group New York Voices. He performs live in the studio. Finally, two legendary companies in the music industry meet today in a London courtroom to fight it out over the name Apple -- that's Apple Apple Corps Ltd., the Beatles' record company, verses Apple Computer Inc. We get an update.

Apple vs. Apple

Apple Corps Ltd., the Beatles' record company, is suing Apple Computer Inc.
