  • Get Back

Thirty-five years since the Beatles broke up, the public's fascination with the Fab Four never seems to fade. This fall will see new books, CD's, films, and other material. Also on the show, Larry Appelbaum, a jazz scholar from the Library of Congress and Lewis Porter, professor of jazz at Rutgers University, talk about the recent discovery of the 49-year-old recording of Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane live at Carnegie Hall, found in the Library of Congress.
