Today, music that resists categorization. Québécoise singing cellist Jorane has crafted a style that's dreamlike and ethereal, drawing freely upon alternative rock, folk, classical, and ambient music idioms. She's elicited comparisons with such distinctive artists as Kate Bush, Bjork, Tori Amos, and Loreena McKennitt, but has a sound that's all her own. Benevento is a master of the Hammond B-3 organ, and with Russo, they perform free-form instrumental versions of standards by the likes of Paul Simon, Thelonius Monk and others. They offer a live performance.
