    On the Road Again

Touring is one of the main engines driving the music industry. The virtuoso acoustic guitarist Kaki King realized this early in her career, first by working as a waitress at the downtown Mercury Lounge, and then cutting her teeth on subway platforms, as an opening act in rock clubs, and as a band member of the off-Broadway smash Blue Man Group. Today, she headlines major venues and festivals, and joins us today to share her tales from the road.
