Soundcheck

Finding a New Home

Monday, September 15, 2003

Today on Soundcheck, we'll talk to jazz pianist Randy Weston and hear him perform live in our studios. With his African Rhythms ensemble, he has been bringing the pulse of African music to new audiences. Then another live performance, this time from fiddle player Natalie McMaster. Her music has fused tradition Scottish music with bluegrass and the traditional music of her home, the Cape Breton Island in Canada.
