    From Berlioz to the Banjo

On Wednesday, March 5, WNYC presents a live broadcast of the London Symphony Orchestra at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Today, we speak to the conductor of the LSO, Sir Colin Davis (pictured), about his 75th birthday year, championing under-represented composers and all things Hector Berlioz. Now in his 30th year as a bandleader, banjoist Tony Trischka plays his combination of bluegrass, jazz and rock at the Bottom Line tonight to celebrate. Trischka and his band will stop by the studio to play live.
