Works new and old on Soundcheck
A new work called Concerto America is in production, and we’ll have a preview.
On today’s Soundcheck, Judith Davidoff from the New York Consort of Viols comes by for a live performance. And Pianist Jeffrey Biegel will be premiering the World Premier of Tony award winning composer Charles Strouse’s Concerto America later this month. Today, he’ll perform live in our studio, and will join Strouse, and Schaefer, in a conversation about the work. And John speaks with Joel Cohen, director of the Boston Camerata.
