Best of 2005 in Rock, Pop and Dance
Critics' Week, Soundcheck's look at the best of 2005 in music concludes today with a look at the best in rock and pop with Ann Powers, senior editor of Blender magazine. Also, a look at the year in dance. Wendy Perron, Editor-In-Chief of Dance Magazine. And finally, the world isn't exactly flooded with Hanukkah albums, but if it were, The LeeVees' "Hanukkah Rocks" would rise above the pack. Joining us is Dave Schneider, co-founder of the band (and also a member of the Zambonis). We'll learn about such humorous, catchy tunes as "Applesauce vs. Sour Cream" and "Jewish Girls (At the Matzoh Ball)."
