PDQ Bach

The Many Faces of Peter Schickele

Wednesday, January 01, 2003

Spend New Year's Day on Soundcheck with the inimitable Peter Schickele, his alter-ego, Professor Peter Schickele and his most infamous subject, P.D.Q. Bach. Composer, musician, author, and satirist Schickele will take us on a musical tour of some of his own recent compositions and offer a survey of the work of the little-known, and most deservedly under-appreciated child of J.S. Bach.

More about Peter Schickele and the "oddest of JS Bach's 20-odd children."

Read the New York Times review of P.D.Q. Bach's Lincoln Center concert, "Oops, I Did it Again!"
