Johanna and Klara Söderberg, the young Swedish sisters who make up the folk duo First Aid Kit, were raised outside of Stockholm, but they grew up falling head over heals for American folk and country music via acts such as the Carter Family and Bright Eyes. At only 20 and 17 years old, the Söderberg sisters already have two releases to their credit, including their full-length debut The Big Black and the Blue, which came out on the London label Wichita Recordings last month. On this track from the album, the sisters pair classic two-part harmony (a hallmark of their sound) with spare, folky instrumentation.
