The Brazilian octet SambaDá evolved out of a dance troupe based in Santa Cruz, Ca., and as a result the band draws on both American and Latin influences. This track, from their new album Gente!, combines bouncy samba with fun-loving surf rock. This weekend, SambaDa celebrate the release of Gente! with a special appearance at S.O.B.'s weekly Brazil Show samba extravaganza.
