Air Waves is the country/folk/rock project of guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Nicole Schneit. Schneit regularly recruits a few musician friends to back her youthful voice and electric guitar, but she has long been the only permanent member of the Brooklyn band. One of Schneit's biggest admirers is one-time collaborator and electronic music eccentric Dan Deacon, who described the simple, sweet music of Air Waves as "a favorite blanket wrapped around you."
