Brian Eno is best known for his innovative solo career and his work as a producer with Talking Heads, U2, Coldplay and others. Now, he’s a mentor. Eno was paired up with young Australian composer Ben Frost for a year of exchanging ideas. They join us to talk about the experience – and to share their recent projects, including Eno’s album with poet Rick Holland and Frost’s reimagined soundtrack for the 1972 Andrei Tarkovsky film “Solaris.”

Wonderful conversation, thanks as always! And I was haunted by the Solaris soundtrack from the Soderberg version, it was so hollow and percussive and chilling. This one sounds like I need to check it out for sure as well.
