If post-Katrina New Orleans had an official soundtrack, Rebirth Brass Band would most certainly headline the album. Although the band has been around since the early ‘80s, their name took on new meaning as their home city struggled to recover from the devastating 2005 hurricane. The group joins us in studio to play some of their greatest hits—and some more recent material from their forthcoming album, aptly titled “Rebirth of New Orleans.” Check out the video below of the band performing "I Like It Like That."

I've loved these guys for years. First time I saw them at the Maple Leaf, NOLA painter Frenchy was there, capturing them on canvas. I bought the painting on the spot. I've caught them plenty of times since.
No matter how bad your mood might ever be, listening to these guys (or seeing them!) will put a big sway in your hips and a fat smile on your face. Troubles evaporate!
Get 'em to play "Do Whatcha Ya Wanna"!
