Today's Playlist:

1- I’m From Barcelona – "We’re From Barcelona"

2- AKB48 - "Iiwake Maybe"

3- Robyn - "Jag Vet En Dejlig Rosa"

Joel, why is protectionism wrong? I never understood that. If we closed our borders and only allowed Americans to by goods made and grown by Americans, how could that be bad for us?

Joel you don't look like a rocker. Is this the same Wharton with the economics and the numbers and the things? Joel, can you answer this: why are there no stations playing new rock bands, by rock bands I mean 4 people, you know the Beatles, Pretenders, the game rock band... what happened to that? Why is pop music now female mannequins dressed up like pervert mongoloids? How did that become the standard?

What a pity that the blurb for this article (which reads "Why John Schaefer wants to move to Scandinavia. Now.") is just a blurb and not a statement of fact. Because the fact is that WNYC and its listeners would benefit greatly if the fatuous buffoon known as John Schaefer were to actually move to Scandinavia.
