Loston Harris
Wednesday, June 09, 2010
With suave charm and an encyclopedic knowledge of the American Songbook, the piano man is a time-honored figure in music. Loston Harris is carrying on that tradition -- and updating it for 2010 -- as a mainstay of Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel.
Harris joins us to talk about his new album, “Why Try To Change Me Now.” And, his band performs in our studio.
Loston Harris performs Tuesdays through Saturdays at Bemelmans Bar at the Hotel Carlyle.

It's always a treat to catch Loston and his band at the Carlyle - they're fabulous, always swinging...you're always in for a great time. Definitely check them out!
What a talent! I went to high school with his wife and I'm so glad that she's introduced me to his music. Just wonderful!
reminds me of some the stuff les davis played at wvnjazz -that's a compliment!
Loston is an awesome entertainer and just a great gentleman! A must-see at the Carlyle! His journey has taken him to new avenues but his history is spectacular as well - speaking of his numerous CDs.
