Do you know if there are any more performances planned? So sorry to have missed them at the Blue Room!
John Patitucci para mi es el mejor bajista y contrabajista del mundo!!!!!

Great Show at the Blue Note last night! Too bad there are not recordings of them as trio.
WOW!!! How about SwingByThree. How uniquely complimentary to each other. Insane prodigious chops and beautiful alchemy. Can't wait for the CD!!! Thanks WNYC
.... the studio broadcast today of this (new) trio was more than superb....it was way out there; the fact that thurs nite @ the blue note was the 1st perform.of all three musicians together is nothing less than phenominal...and the spontaneity of the 'trip' today was soooo cool; Thank You WNYC, and thank you, guys !! ....chuck ...p.s. to WNYC, if this kind of result can come from a live, afternoon studio gig, then please do more...from the trio, Mark O'Connor, John Patittuci, Julian Lage,1/08/10.
It's there now...thanks!
The audio should be there in a few minutes. I was just uploading a stereo file and it takes a little while to post.
How about telling me when this will be on?
Thank you so much for featuring Mark O'Connor and his friends, John Patittuci and Julian Lage. Mark is truly one of the finest musicians in America and his creativity is boundless. His work with the young up-coming musicians is truly wonderful and his composition and playing sets a very high example for all musicians throughout the World.
Of course his wonderful friends, Julian and John are extremely accomplished musicians in their own rights and I thank them for presenting their music via the 'Net as I can't make the Blue Note dates. Best of luck with your music.
How about Majoju for name of trio? (It's the first two letters of each member's first name.)
i think the group should be called "three blind mice"
John,
Though it does not have anything to do with today's show, I wonder if you might mention the sad passing on New Year's Day of Lhasa De Sela. I had the privilege of hearing her in person twice, and she was the most transcendent singer and performer I have ever heard.
The world is a sadder place without her.
I wonder if you might do show about her and her music, if you have not already done so.
Music for the patient should be as or more important as for the doctors as described from your recent caller.
Also the use of positive affirmation CDs for the patient has been effective for many.
