New Year, New Music

Monday, January 04, 2010

Forgot all those end-of-year recaps and best-albums lists. It's time to look forward. Today, we hear about upcoming albums from veteran artists -- and new artists expected to make a splash in 2010. Joining us with his predictions is Mike Conklin, music editor of The L magazine.

hi --
it's ridiculous that paul mccartney gets to basically release a shitty album whenever he wants, while big boi, half of rap's best-selling group of all time (i think), continually gets his album pushed back. the dozen or so tracks that have leaked from the "sir lucious leftfoot" sessions have all been top notch.

This guy plays the most annoying music. 9 times out of 10 this show is turned off till 3PM and I can literally get some "fresh air" He is obsessed with these "hipster" muzak bands. RARELY is anything new presented.
