Jim Jarmusch

Friday, August 13, 2010

Director Jim Jarmusch has sought out unusual and provocative musicians for the soundtracks to films like Down By Law, Ghost Dog, and his most recent release, The Limits of Control. Now, Jarmusch has been tapped to assemble the lineup for the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival, held this Labor Day Weekend in Monticello, N.Y.

Jarmusch joins guest host Moby to talk about building a concert bill that includes indie rockers: Vivian Girls and rapper Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan.

my mind is blown by this weekend of music....I went to a jewish youth group as a kid and we had retreats at Kutsher's....if I had a way to get up there I'd be giggling with all kinds of happiness over the line up and the walk down memory lane.
