Making Music with their Bodies

Thursday, August 12, 2010

Keith Terry, founder of the Slammin' All-Body Band, specializes in "body music," a genre built entirely on clapping, snapping, stomping, a cappella singing and other musical displays made solely from using the body.

Terry joins us today in advance of the New York debut of the International Body Music Festival at Lincoln Center. Also with us are Inuit throat singers Celina Kalluk and Lucie Idlout, hailing from Canada's Arctic territory of Nunavut.

Guests:

Lucie Idlout, Celina Kalluk and Keith Terry
