Wu Man
Thursday, October 22, 2009
Wu Man, a virtuoso of the pipa, a Chinese lute, is a graduate of Beijing's Central Conservatory who left China 20 years ago to pursue a career on the international stage. After performing with everyone from Kronos Quartet to saxophonist Henry Threadgill, she's now turning her attention to the traditional folk music of her homeland as part of a major festival of Chinese Culture at Carnegie Hall. She joins us along with qin player Zhao Jiazhen to perform live.

Is ther any copyright restriction to use the music, not the video, for an art project ?
I have an idea to express this music in a visual form (animation).
Any help on copyright restictions of using the mp3 would be helpful.
Thanks.

I encountered this wonderful piece of music yesterday while driving down the Palisade Parkway...I had to pull over to the side because the music was transporting me to another place and had to remind myself to breath.
Really amazing!
