Kristin Chenoweth

Friday, May 15, 2009

Some people, like Kristin Chenoweth, can do it all. Today's guest even wrote a book about it. The star visits us today to discuss the differences between Broadway and TV and a small town and a big city, as well as her book, "A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages."

Guests:

Thank you for your always great show!

Chenoweth is such a massively talented power-house pisser.

And seems comfortable in her own skin & soul. Wherever her faith takes her, she seems comfortable with it. It may not be my choice, but it seems to work for her. And that's what matters---if it gives her sustenance & strength, then it's working. For her.

I heard Kristen sing a concert version Candide several years ago in New York. You are awesome, Kristen, and that's coming from an atheist.

I love Kristin! (even on her facebook fan page!) She was great on "Pushing Daisies." Was it as fun to make as it was to watch? And why was it cancelled? I was so bummed.

Ask her why she cried at the Monday night concert at the City Center.

Hi Kristin,

My wife and I were in the nose bleeds section, many years ago at City Center in a performance for the ENCHORES. Also, performing was one of our favorite singers Donna Murphy. We had a strong feeling that you were going to be a big star as you blew us away with your beautiful voice. Also, thank you for taking a photo with us after the performance and signing our program. I'm marginally embarrassed to admit I'd never heard of Ms. Chenoweth before I saw her on West Wing. I loved her on that and I was absolutely floored when I was flipping through the channels and caught her performance of Candide. Wow!

What a performer!
