Justin Townes Earle

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

He has a famous father in musician Steve Earle and a legendary namesake in the late songwriter Townes Van Zandt. Some might buckle under the pressure, but Justin Townes Earle takes his pedigree in stride. He joins us to discuss his latest album, Midnight at the Movies, and to perform live in our studio.

I don't know about your definition of experimenting, but anyone who starts doing drugs in their early teens and escalates to heroine and crack by the age of 18 has a serious addiction in my book, even if they manage to hit bottom and get clean earlier than most. You might want to read some longer interviews before you form an opinion.
