As the leader of legendary Stax Records band Booker T. and the MGs, Booker T. Jones became an architect of soul music. He joins us today to give us a sneak preview of "Potato Hole," his forthcoming collaboration with twang-rockers Drive By Truckers and folk-rock icon Neil Young.

That was a wonderful segment with Booker T. Thanks as always to Soundcheck--best music show on the radio! His new stuff sounds great. I also loved your recent interview with Allen Toussaint. Can we get Levon Helm next?
