Jenny Lin Live

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Pianist Jenny Lin was born in Taiwan, raised in Austria, studied in Geneva and Baltimore and now calls New York City her home. Her musical tastes are similarly wide-ranging, with CDs embracing Russian revolutionaries, insomnia-themed works, and her latest, the blazingly difficult 24 Preludes of Shostakovich. The enterprising pianist joins us to perform live.

Beautiful performance. The Russian composer brought tears to my eyes.
