Real Estate

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Fuzzy, lo-fi, and seemingly obsessed with summer, Real Estate rose to prominence this year on a wave of good will from the music blogs. The New Jersey natives join us today to perform selections from their self-titled debut, recently released on Woodsist.

I like it too, and it reminds me of vinyl days, and sound-style wise, a little bit Miracle Legion.

Oooh. I like this. A little surfey, a little lo-fi, a little emo. They sound like Broken Social Scene's little brother.

Nothing better than new music that doesn't make me want to stick pencils in my ears!
