Bobby Previte live

Monday, October 27, 2008

In 1940, Spanish artist Joan Miró began a series of paintings inspired by reflections in water and music. That work, named The Constellations, is considered his master-piece and one of the high points of twentieth-century painting. Drummer and composer Bobby Previte was inspired by Miro’s 23 Constellations to write a multimedia music composition. He joins us in light of that piece’s American premiere.

Did anyone else think Bobby Previte sounded a lot like Brian Lehrer? Give him a try out as substitute host the next time Brian is away and see who notices.
