Musicians Take to the Swing States

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

As the presidential campaigns enter the home stretch, an unprecedented level of support is seen from artists. Singers like James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are performing concerts in support of Barack Obama, while country stars like Brooks & Dunn and Gretchen Wilson are performing for McCain. Speaking of Obama songs, check out Clare & the Reasons' "Obama Over the Rainbow." I think it sets the perfect tone for the election.

Peter, Paul and Mary, very close friends of mine are staunch supporters of Barack Obama. Can you do something on this? The connection between old and young, the 60s and today would be most interesting. Let me know if you would l ike me to connect you.
