Henry's World
Friday, November 14, 2008
Henry Rollins has an impressive resume. He earned punk-icon status fronting the groups Black Flag and Rollins Band, then branched out into publishing, acting and spoken word. He shares his experiences on a one-man show tour in South Africa, Northern Ireland and post-Katrina New Orleans, which are the subject of Independent Film Channel specials.

I didn't quite get the name of the band that was referenced near the end of the Rollins segment - I probably have the spelling wrong:
Der Hoof: "Defend Maggie"
Any help??

And ANOTHER great interview! Thanks Henry for the insight and the music. Makes me wonder where you'll be leading us after 50 years in the biz as well.
John
Great show today with Q and R.
Please tell me what the Tuareg piece was and the name of the CD. I have to get it.
Thank you.
David Brown, Ph.D.
Both Quincy Jones and Henry Rollins were brilliant choices for this show.
Articulate and intensely fascinating, i think this was probably the best show I listened to in a long time!
Hi - Can you post a link or the name again of the Touareg band? THanks, /Nick
