WOW!! Sounds a little misguided in here. I had the privilege of meeting Dan when he came to one of my shows. The songs don't sound purely Latino because Dan is not latino. It does sound like he is respectfully imitating the music of the latin culture. This is also a way to attract kids, who follow Dan's music, to different cultures that they WILL encounter especially in NYC. Also, in terms of losing jobs, before becoming a full time musician I worked in occupational health and safety. Don't blame the latinos for taking jobs at lower pay blame the Corp disrespecting Americans and Latinos by offering offensively low wages. I've seen the mistreatment of these workers with my own eyes.

Mexican workers are taking the jobs of farmers, laborers, and others who aren't able to get jobs now. they'll work for nothing and undercut our own people!!

I hardly think that the Mexicans are taking any jobs from americans. to diverge onto a political note, i find it interesting that the latin community is so politically inactive, perhaps its because they have their collective heads down, hard at work. if they are taking american jobs maybe its because they work harder and better than americans.

Oh Boy! This gentleman should stick with the kids music. Children are too young to complain about noise that hurts their ears.

What a delightful song! Don't have any idea what they were singing about but the female lead singer has a charming voice/style and, after all that ABBA, this had me smiling and tapping my toes. Thanks!
