Kimya Dawson

The Moldy Peaches song "Anyone Else But You" is a memorable track from the star-studded soundtrack to the film Juno. Kimya Dawson, co-founder of the indie band and a solo artist, talks about the role her songs play in an offbeat movie about teen pregnancy. And, she performs in our studio.

I saw Kimya Dawson tonight at the Bowery Ballroom. To say that she was the most self-indulgent, banal and irritating performer I've ever seen would be too kind. Ughhh.
Love you, Kimya...great music that really made the movie (Juno) work. What a strange comment below, with reference to American Idol (?)...if I were you, I'd plaster that across my next CD cover.
I love the lo-fi style in the tradition of K Records...perhaps a a duet with Calvin Johnson is in the future?
i love kimya dawson. her music and voice are so honest and tender. it's the anti-american idol. thank god for that.
Kimya Dawson wouldn't even make to to the judges on American Idol. NO Talent for composing and little talent for singing or playing
