Wednesday, April 30, 2008

One of your most delightful and informative interviews I've heard, thank you for that -- and finally I have something I am happy to commit some of my gift Apple download bucks to.

wow. as a 48 year old NJ soccer mom, i am tripping down memory lane with Moby's recollections of the 80's nyc club scene...post-Rubell studio 54 (sunday nite was the best - gay nite!)...mudd club, area, mars, xenon, magique, and yes....madonna on the dance floor at danceteria. never got to paradise garage, but my black gay friends described it as church. as an FIT student from the midwest, it was a heady time where music and people that i could never have imagined existed opened my eyes and ears to a whole new world. thanks for keeping the music alive, Moby!
