Blood and Bling

Wednesday, September 05, 2007

Even before Run DMC donned gold-rope chains, hip-hop culture embraced outrageous jewelry. In the documentary Bling: A Planet Rock, hip-hop figures from superstar producer Kanye West to be-grilled rapper Paul Wall explore the link between hip-hop, diamonds, and the civil war that devastated Sierra Leone. We talk with the film's producer, Raquel Cepeda.

How about making a movie about The Black Diamond aka The Black Ice aka The Bloody OIL...
This Planet Earth has enough resources for everybody to live in peace & nurture LOVE. But only 30Million are enjoying their lives & the rest are living a la Animal Farm. The Animal Farms in "the REST of the WORLD" are basically installed by big corporation...The rest is history.
Conflict starts with Poverty & Poverty is the only product of "the Scarcity of EDUCATION". Let's WAKE UP People & cure our shopping disorder disease.
In the end we are all equal in 2 events:
Birth & Death. Rest assure that if you have some unfinished business left; you'll come back again & again until you get it done!
Cheers.
Hamid.
