as far as booking, Northsix was the best venue in the city. I saw Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Franz Ferdinand, Fiery Furnaces, Lightning Bolt, Deerhoof, Beirut and too many others to mention there for the first time.

mccarren pool is my favorite new york concert venue. it's very unusual-very brooklyn. the acoustics are phenomenal and the crowd is always fun.
