Elliott Sharp
Wednesday, March 28, 2007
A 30-year veteran of the "downtown" experimental music scene, guitarist and composer Elliott Sharp recently recorded an album of music created by another complex musical mind: Thelonious Monk. Sharp performs live in our studio and talks about "Binibon," a work of musical theater based on an infamous murder in New York’s East Village.
Sharp and his collaborator, writer Jack Womack, perform "Binibon" at Roulette on Saturday, March 31 at 8:30.
