Novels about pop music often hit on tried and true themes but not so in the case of writer Jonathan Lethem. His latest, "You Don't Love Me Yet," is an improbable comic novel about the members of a struggling hipster band set in L.A. The book has spawned an interesting side project that gets Lethem dangerously close to writing songs.
