Historically, New Orleans's poorest residents have included some of its greatest musicians. In the latest issue Rolling Stone magazine, several of the city's musical legends talk about the city's musical heritage, and reflect on what's been lost and what will stand in the future. Today, we look at New Orleans in the wake of Katrina with Rolling Stone senior editor David Fricke. He'll also bring us up to speed on the recent series of Katrina benefit concerts. Also: Carnegie Hall opens its new season tonight under a new artistic and executive director, former London Symphony General Manager Clive Gillinson. He joins us today with a look ahead. Rounding out the show is musician Scott Prairie.
