Today, Tim Riley, rock critic and author of Tell Me Why: A Beatles Commentary joins us to discuss what's hot and what's not in this fall's Beatle avalanche. Also on the show, Larry Appelbaum, a jazz scholar from the Library of Congress and Lewis Porter, professor of jazz at Rutgers University, talk about the recent discovery of the 49-year-old recording of Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane live at Carnegie Hall, found in the Library of Congress.
