For starters, how about an ensemble whose members look like a boy band, exhibit no apparent pretension and play with the passion of Nine Inch Nails?" Answer: The Jacques Thibaud String Trio. They perform live in our studio and talk to host John Schaefer about their passion for playing. Also on the show, Alex de Grassi visits the studio today. Born in Yokosuka, Japan but raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, de Grassi has a degree in economic geography and makes his living as a self-taught guitarist.
