Every summer, the Metropolitan Opera moves into Central Park, and it’s always a great party. So that makes conductor Joseph Colaneri your host, and he comes by today with the life of the party, soprano Andrea Gruber, star of the Met's production of Turandot. Pianist Adam Kent also visits the Soundcheck studio today. He discusses his part in the presentation of Salvador Dali: Dream of Venus at the Queens Museum of Art. Kent presents a recital of works that is comprised of composers associated with Dali, his times, and his aesthetic orientation. Works to be featured include Ernesto Halffter’s "Hommage a Dali," a setting of text by Dali.
