We are tickling the ivories today on Soundcheck. Frederic Rzewski (pictured) is stopping by to discuss the world premiere of his 8-part "novel" for the piano, The Road. Joining him will be pianists and composers Jed Distler and Matthew Shipp to preview the upcoming Keyboard Summit/Solo Flight, a series that features new keyboard music, improvisation and live electronics. Also, our old friend, music critic Anastasia Tsiouclas tickles us with tales of her recent journey to Mali and tells us about all of the music she heard while there.
